	Brothers Rick and Mike Karber founded Interstate Mechanical Corporation (IMCOR) in 1973. The company provides a full range of hvac, plumbing and piping construction services for commercial, industrial and municipal projects. In addition, in-plant/facilities and service maintenance department provide specialized service to meet the needs of the customer.
	Workforce
	IMCOR has the demonstrated ability to recruit and retain an exceptionally motivated and highly skilled workforce that is one of the cornerstones of our company’s success. Core managers represent more than 500 years of combined experience in the construction industry, while our company maintains an average workforce in excess of 350 employees.
	40% Employee Owned
	As an ESOP company, IMCOR is forty percent owned by employees at the present time. As our employees are also owners of the company, they have a vested interest in increasing its value through commitment, integrity and quality work.

	The company’s founding philosophy remains as our mission statement - To be skilled managers utilizing modern methods, equipment and ideas to effectively manage the company and to adhere to ethical practices at all times.
